DON'T LET THEM KILL RONIN: Gina DeNofa, the rescuing angel who supplies our dog photos, told us the ACCT Philly shelter at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. is now killing animals "because of space. Twelve dogs were lost the other day. This little guy, Ronin, is a 3-year-old brindle terrier mix who needs a home ASAP. He is so outgoing. The small but mighty fella easily listens to commands and would love a jogging partner. He loves other dogs, too. Sadly, Ronin's days are numbered due to the shelter being so full. Please come meet him soon! He is vaccinated and will be neutered for adoption." More info: Harlow314@aol.com
DUFFY HOLDS NO GRUDGE: Duffy is a sweetheart whose humans moved and left him behind. Despite this, he still loves and trusts people. He's charismatic and cute and wants a home again. You can meet him (and other rescues) Saturday, June 4, noon to 3 p.m., at Bone Appetite, 8517 Germantown Ave., or call BrendasCatRescue at 215-872-1636.
