St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 22 E. Chestnut Hill Ave. in Chestnut Hill, will celebrate 10 years with its rector, the Rev. E. Clifford Cutler, and his wife, Amy, at the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Feb. 7.
The service will include brass and tympani and the Saint Paul's Adult Choir followed by a brunch in the Parish Hall. Videos will highlight events in Cutler's ministry, including his 2006 appearance before City Council and his running up the steps at Citizens Bank Park in 2012.
Cutler's tenure at the church has seen the renovation of the church school wing at St. Paul's, the publication of Cutler's book “By Night: Sermons & Meditations in a Third Millennium,” the formation of the Center for Contemporary Mysticism at the church, and the creation of an endowment fund to maintain the church's 6,300-pipe organ.
