HARRY NEEDS A HOME: Harry the Chihuahua's 94-year-old "mother" recently fell, broke her leg and is permanently in a wheelchair and can no longer care for him. She rescued him three years ago. Her vet feels he is about 4 or 5 years old now. He is energetic, highly food motivated and responsive to positive reinforcement training. He will follow you anywhere and jump into your lap if you sit down. He is not a good dog for children. Harry would thrive in a household where he is the only pet and is loved. CHARLOTTE CRAVES LOVE: Charlotte is a 1-2 year old tabby who is a lap cat extraordinaire. She is blossoming as she becomes more trusting. Rescued from the street, she has a cataract in one eye that the vet says is from 'blunt force." Charlotte craves love and hopes someone will offer his/her lap to her. She is totally vetted. SHE IS A STAR: Star is a 3 to 5-year-old white American shorthair mix. She has one blue and gold eye. The poor young cat has been at the shelter for sometime because she is timid. However, she loves other animals and would love even more to be cherished in a home. Not scared and curled up into a sad snowball. Star is vaccinated and will be spayed for adoption. Optional testing for FELV and FIV and micro chipping are available. Contact Adopt@acctphilly.org
