ABANDONED, ‘TOO PLAYFUL’: Poor Beast was dropped off at the shelter because his owner (the real “Beast”) said he was “too playful.” He's an eight-month-old kitten! Playing is what kittens do! Now because of his owner's neglect and stupidity, the young silver tabby lies in a paper bag, too afraid to do anything but blink. Please help Beast find a home to be cherished in, not end his young life alone and unwanted at the city shelter. Beast (A21765832) is at ACCT Philly shelter. He is vetted and neutered. Come down to the shelter to save him! 111 West Hunting Park Ave. More information at Maria@acctphilly.org or lifesaving@acctphilly.org
LEFT ON EXPRESSWAY: Maggie is a three-month-old long-hair tortoise-shell cat. She is now playful and healthy after being abused and left on the cement divider of the Schuylkill Expressway. Maggie is now a lovebug and purr machine. She has been tested, spayed and had her first series of vaccinations. To meet her and other rescues, go to Brendascatrescue.com or phone 215-872-1636.
