Outstanding multi-sport senior athletes at area schools were recently honored when the 2014 Girls Inter-Ac League Athletic Directors Awards were presented in a ceremony at the Agnes Irwin School. Germantown Academy’s Megan McCloskey (third from right) will join the track and field program at Penn State, while Springside Chestnut Hill Academy’s Julia Schumacher (second from right) will attend Drexel University and Penn Charter’s Kristina Kubach (right) will attend Temple University.
The honorees from the other four league schools were (from left) Selena Maity (Baldwin School), Taryn Gallagher (Episcopal Academy), Morgan Pergolini (Agnes Irwin), and Katie Schneider (Academy of Notre Dame).
