Looking for Saturday activities for the kids and not ready for holiday-related events yet? Come check out the robots on Saturday, December 1st from 9 am to 3:30 pm when Springside Chestnut Hill Academy hosts the 2012 FIRST LEGO League Challenge competition. A gymnasium full of excited kids and their cheering fans—that’s what you’ll see and hear when 25 area teams go head to head using their engineering, research, and presentation smarts to complete this year’s challenge. Watch the competition, meet the student teams, roam the “pits,” and enjoy robot demos! The event is being held at 500 West Willow Grove Ave. For more information: www.sch.org or 215-247-4700.
