Residents of Chestnut Hill are invited to a meeting with police at the Chestnut HIll Library, 8711 Germantown Ave., at 7 p.m. The meeting is a regular session for residents and police in PSA-4. That's the division of the 14th police district that encompasses Chestnut Hill.
Police had posted a bulletin regarding burglaries in the neighborhood in which the burglars managed to easily enter homes through unlocked windows and even doors while residents were away. Those burglaries and tips on prevention will likely be discussed at tonight's meeting.
