Registration for the 2021 Fall Intramural Soccer Season is now open. The CHYSC offers IM soccer programs for players ages 5-18.
The CHYSC Intramural Soccer Program promotes a fun environment for players to be introduced to the fundamentals of soccer. With the multitude of schools that serve Northwest Philadelphia and the surrounding communities, the program is a way for children to meet.
Season begins with practices during the week following Labor Day Weekend and runs into early or mid-November, depending upon the age group. The older leagues include playoffs that award a league champion team. Occasionally, some of the leagues designate players to form a “select” team to play in a post-season tournament against other regional clubs.
The youngest league includes 4 and 5 year old boys and girls. It focuses on fun drills and games that help to introduce the game of soccer and develop the skills that will serve the children into the future.

Registration costs range from $80 for U6 Coed, $110 U8, to $130 for higher. The league’s ability to grant special requests is limited, particularly for U10 and above.
U6: One weekly 60 minute time slot on a Saturday that is a practice/scrimmage
U8: One weeknight practice, and one weekend game each week
In the past, fields used included: Watertower, SCH, Carson Valley and New Covenant Campus. For 2021, schedules, with field locations will be released in late August.
CHYSC is an all-volunteer organization that exists only through the committed efforts of adults interested in the development of our region’s youth through sports. Most notably, the Intramural Program, with its many leagues and teams, is always in need of adults to serve as coaches and assistant coaches. Prior soccer experience is not necessary; merely the willingness to pitch in to help create a successful experience for the kids. (Clearances required.)
