Did you know that Chestnut Hill was once planned to be bisected by a cross-country highway, with a roundabout where Pastorius Park is now? This and more about the Park's evolution can be seen in the Chestnut Hill Conservancy streetscape exhibit, "Pastorius Park: The park that almost wasn't," by Rob Fleming. The exhibit will hang in the Germantown Avenue storefront of Kilian Hardware (8450 Germantown Ave.) from Wednesday, Nov. 30 through the month of December.
