May 30, 2024, age 89. Formerly of the Germantown and Brewerytown sections of Philadelphia. Beloved wife of 67 years of the late John James Walsh and loving mother of Mary Pat (William McGinly), John (Jeanne), Bridget, Paul (Michele), Daniel (close friend Susan Seroskie), Patrick (Kathleen), and Anne. Proud Grammy of grandchildren Paul (Sara), John (Patricia DiMaria), Patrick (Jill), Aidan, Annabelle (Charlotte Fauchon), Coen and Sam, step-granddaughters Caitlin Straub (Frederick), Sally Kenyon (Mike McGrane), Heather McAndrews and Shaina McAndrews, great granddaughters Zoe Patricia, Ophelia Kea, Goldie-Anne Starla and Adeline Mae, and step-great grandsons Freddie and James. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Graduate of Hallahan and Chestnut Hill College. Awarded Master’s Degree in Adult Religious Education from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary and completed 60+ additional Master’s level credits in education, English, math and computer science. Taught at C. W. Henry School for 30 years and established one of the first computer labs in the District. Recipient of 1990 Rose Lindenbaum Award for Teaching Excellence. Proud member of Southeastern Pennsylvania Women’s Ordination Conference.
Preceded in death by her beloved parents Joseph and Anna (née McLaughlin) Andris, and cherished siblings and their spouses Joseph (Helen, Paula), Helen (Francis Cramsie), John (Eleanor), Anne (Edward O’Neill), William (Dorothy), Teresa (Charles Olinger), Charles (Frances) and Paul (Florence).
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pat’s life at a visitation Monday, June 10, 6-8 PM at Ciavarelli F.H., 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler, or Tuesday, June 11, 9:00-9:45, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. Interment will be private.
