I know it has been a crazy year for everyone. So many devastating events and change for both families and business. It has been tough but Bohemian Pink [8638 Germantown Ave.] survived the year! We got PPP money and grants which saved us. We built a website, boosted our social media, started our successful Facebook Lives and got a lot of media coverage as well.
Personally the year has been tough as well, with one thing after the other. Most recently I have been diagnosed with very early Stage 1a breast cancer. In the long term I will be just fine, but unfortunately in the short term I have to do chemotherapy, starting the first week in January.
With a very heavy heart I have decided to close the brick and mortar store at the end of January. I have decided to take a “personal sabbatical” and take this time off to focus on my health and wellness for the next few months.
I am however not closing my business! Bohemian Crafts Co. (parent company of Bohemian Pink) celebrates 25 years this January! What an amazing milestone!!! Bohemian Pink will continue online and I will return to shows and events again in the spring. I will be at the Chestnut Hill Festival, Wilmington Flower Market, Devon Horse Show and Philadelphia Flower Show assuming things start to open up.
I am thrilled that 2020 is finally over! I truly believe 2021 is going to be much better, full of positivity and healing. Thank you for your continued support! I really felt your love and connection this holiday season. Thank you to everyone who told me they watched my Facebook/Instagram Lives. Thank you to everyone who came out and shopped small, it made a difference.
Bohemian Pink will have limited hours starting next week. Text me to double check if we are open. 215-207-8552. We will be open on weekends through the end of January, Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
