From July 6 to July 30, East Chestnut Hill Avenue is closed due to sewer work, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The goal of the excavation work is to connect St. Paul’s Episcopal Church to the city’s sewer system. This can potentially cause problems for those trying to get to St. Paul’s, 22 E. Chestnut Hill Avenue, and Our Mother of Consolation Church, across the street. By special arrangement the road will be open for urgent church needs, such as a funeral.
