The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from May 17 to May 24, 2020.
Please note the dates in bold listed below are when the crimes occurred, not when they were reported.
May 23. Vehicle Theft on the 100 block of West Highland Avenue. Recovered prior to report at 5:57 p.m. on May 23.
Police responded to the location in response to Abington Police recovering a 2018 Silver Subaru Crosstrack, which was registered to the complainant at the location. Police spoke with the complainant who stated he did not give consent to anyone to use his vehicle. Abington Police instructed complainant on how to retrieve his vehicle. Police arrested three juveniles at the scene.
Summary: One crime for the week: vehicle theft. Vehicle returned to owner.
