The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from Oct. 5 to Oct. 11.
Oct. 6 Theft from vehicle on the 8300 block of Stenton Ave. A woman told police she saw a man open her vehicle and take her iPhone and purse that contained her wallet, credit cards and $20 in cash.
Oct. 6 Theft from vehicle on the 100 block of East Hartwell Lane. A woman told police that she parked her car on the street and returned to find a bag of clothes and a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses were taken. Vehicle may have been unlocked. Clothing was worth $350.
Oct. 10 Theft from vehicle, Valley Green. A woman told police she parked her car to take a walk in the park. When she returned, she discovered someone had entered her vehicle and taken an Apple MacBook pro and a DeWalt drill in a carrying bag. Items taken were said to be worth $1,500.
