Part-time Graphic Designer

The Chestnut Hill Local is seeking a graphic design professional who will take pride in creating attractive and effective advertisements for local businesses, assisting in the pagination and production our weekly newspaper and special sections, building web pages and producing social media posts.

If you are creative and proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark and InDesign, if you have the ability and experience to design and troubleshoot ads for publication and have experience in designing page layouts and web pages, we would love to talk to you about joining the Chestnut Hill Local team.

20 – 24 hours per week.  Schedule is to be determined and is negotiable, but Monday afternoons and evenings are a must.

OFFICE MANAGER/ADVERTISING SUPPORT

This position requires a person who has the personality to interact with customers as well as the discipline to handle processing payments and other billing-related tasks accurately.  Computer skills are essential.

Duties include:

-Serving as the primary classified representative

-Processing payments for advertising and circulation customers

-Handling bank deposits

-Processing incoming and outgoing mail

-Assisting with monthly billing and collections

-Helping with other special projects

This is a 5-day, part-time position that could become full-time for the right candidate.
