The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from January 20, 2020 to January 26, 2020.
Please note the dates in bold listed below are when the crimes occurred, not when they were reported.
Jan. 20. Theft from vehicle on Germantown Avenue and Northwestern Avenue. A woman told police that between 11 a.m. and 11:40 a.m. unknown persons broke the front passenger side window to her red 2009 Honda Fit PA Tag LCW-2403. Taking items that were on the on the passenger side front seat floor. The items are valued at approximately $45.
Jan. 24. Vehicle Theft on the unit block of East Mermaid Lane and Winston Road. Complaint told police that between approximately 8:10 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., he parked a 2017 dark blue Toyota 4Runner with PA Tag KXL-0132. When he returned, the vehicle was gone. The key FOB was in the vehicle.
Summary: three crimes for the week – One vehicle theft and one theft from vehicle.
