The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from June 24 to June 28, 2019.
June 25. Theft on 8800 block of Germantown Avenue at approximately 4 p.m. A woman told police that someone went into an office and took a laptop. There were no cameras in the office and no tracking on the laptop. Taken was a Dell Latitude 7490 laptop, valued at $1,500.
June 28. Theft on the 8200 block of Germantown Ave. A woman told police that at approximately 1:30 p.m. her purse was taken while she was at lunch. Her purse and its contents are valued at $870. The woman told police the restaurant did not have any cameras.
