The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from April 29 to May 5.
April 27. Vehicle theft on the 9500 block of Germantown Avenue. A man told police he parked his white Ford Focus with Maryland plates at the above location. When he returned, the vehicle was not there. There was no record of a tow.
April 29. Theft on the 8800 block of Germantown Avenue. An employee at Chestnut Hill Hospital told police she left her belongings in the first-floor library at approximately 10:40 p.m. When she returned at 6 a.m. on April 30, she discovered the items missing.
April 30. Robbery. A man told police that he was at the ATM at PNC Bank at West Gravers Lane at approximately 10:25 p.m. when a man approached him with a black gun, patted him down and took a gold Rolex watch and an iPhone.
May 4. Theft from vehicle at approximately 1:45 p.m. on the 400 block of West Willow Grove Avenue. A man told police that an unknown person broke the passenger side window of his 2018 Acura MDX and stole the following items: two purses, various identification cards, credit cards and sunglasses from the passenger and rear seat.
Summary: Four crimes – One robbery, one vehicle theft and two thefts
