The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from Oct. 29 to Nov. 4, 2018.
Nov. 1. Theft on the 8100 block of Germantown Avenue at approximately 2 p.m. on Oct. 31. A woman told police she was working at a store when she left her wallet on the floor under her seat. When she returned to retrieve it, the wallet was gone. The wallet contained 1 PNC card, 1 Bank of America Card and 1 TJ Maxx Card. The woman said the person then used her credit cards. The items are valued at $10.
Nov. 3. Theft on the 8400 block of Germantown Avenue. The manager of a store said that an unknown woman came into the store on Nov. 2 at approximately 9 a.m. The manager said she paid for the vitamins with a fake $100 bill. The woman purchased $40 worth of vitamins.
Summary: Two crimes for the week – two thefts.
