Chestnut Hill mainstay, Campbell’s Place is doing its part to motivate voters to come out and vote in the upcoming election on Tuesday, November 6th by giving a 10 perent Election Day discount to anyone who displays their “I voted today” sticker.
When approached with the idea by local 9th Ward, 6th Division committee person Shoshana Bricklin, Campbell’s Place owner Vanessa Mullen, responded enthusiastically.
“We think all elections are important and this is just our way of appreciating anyone who takes the time to vote,” she said.
Bricklin said that “typically the mid-term election has very low turnout, but this year with the newly drawn Congressional Districts as well as races for Senator and Governor it is critical for people to make their voices heard at the ballot box.”
