The Chestnut Hill Community Association’s annual Movies Under the Stars saw a rainy August. It was so much rain that two of the movie dates had to be postponed.

We are very excited to be rescheduling one of the movies as part of the Chestnut Hill Business Association’s Witches & Wizards Weekend’s Friday night activities. A movie that is geared towards the younger crowd (and young at heart!), the CHCA will be showing “Beauty and the Beast” on Friday, Oct. 19 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. (movie starts at 6:45 p.m.) outside at the Water Tower Recreation Center, 200 East Hartwell Ln.

We will be partnering once again with the Chestnut Hill Youth Sports Club Snack Bar to provide refreshments. So, while the older “kids” are doing the pub crawl, come on down early and have dinner before the film begins. Delicious dinner items, beverages and snacks will be available at the Snack Bar. Bring your family, friends, blankets and lawn chairs, the event will be held weather permitting. Children who arrive in costume will receive a special treat!

As part of the Movies under the Star’s series, CHCA Members and Families are FREE. Non-members – $5 suggested donation.
