The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from Sept. 9 to Sept. 16, 2018.
Sept. 10. Theft from vehicle on the 100 block of East Chestnut Hill Avenue at approximately 8 a.m. A man told police that he parked his vehicle at the above location. When he returned at 6 p.m., he found the passenger side window broken out and the following item missing: one Pioneer Touch Screen Stereo valued at $450. The window is valued at $280.
Sept. 16. Theft of motor vehicle tags on the unit block of East Abington Avenue at approximately 12:22 p.m. A man told police the tag that belongs on his 2013 Volkswagon Tiguan PA JXT-8850 had been switched with another plate PA JFY-7746. The item is valued at $36.
Summary: Two crimes for the week – One theft from vehicle and one theft.
