Ruth Jacks (Jackie) Hickmott Age 87. Beloved wife of Herbert H. Hickmott III; loving mother to her favorite son, Herbert H. Hickmott IV (Stacey); and her favorite daughter, Hillary Baker (Charlie); beloved Mom Mom to Herbert H. Hickmott V and Laura R. Hickmott.
Jackie was a graduate of Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. After raising her 2 extraordinary children, Jackie worked for The Chestnut Hill Local newspaper in ad sales until her retirement. She loved animals more than people, travel, the ocean, and had a vicious wit about her.
In typical Hickmott fashion, we will celebrate Jackie’s life at a gathering of friends and family at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her memory to: Doylestown Health Foundation- Pine Run, 595 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 1890. And, treat yourself to an ice cream and a Scotch.
