George Denning Beck, Jr of Chestnut Hill passed away on May 14 after a brief illness.
Born April 10, 1936 to Dr. George D. Beck and Kathryn W. Beck, George lived in Philadelphia his entire life. George was predeceased by his brother Douglas and his wife Carole (Mathias).
He leaves behind sisters Joy (Hansen) and Gay (Brooks). He graduated from Germantown Academy in 1954 and served in the army from 1955 to 1958 in Europe. George went on to a long career in sales. Growing up he loved spending his summers in Bay Head, NJ leading to a life-long love for the beach and ocean.
He is survived by his sons James D. Beck, Stephen W. Beck (Lisa), Douglas S. Beck (Jodi), and Jeffrey F. Beck (Anita) in addition to his seven grandchildren.
