The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from Jan. 1 to Jan. 7, 2018.
Jan. 2. Theft from vehicle on the 7700 block of Stenton Avenue. A man told police that sometime between Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. and Jan. 2 at 7 a.m. an unknown person gained entry to his vehicle through right front window. Nothing was taken.
Jan. 2. Theft from vehicle on the 9200 block of Germantown Avenue at approximately 12:10 p.m. A woman told police that she parked and secured her vehicle on the 9200 block of Germantown Avenue. She placed her purse in the trunk of the vehicle. When she returned home and looked in her purse, she noticed her brown wallet with her driver’s license, check book and PFCU debit card were missing. The items are valued at $60.
