The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from Oct. 16 to Oct. 22, 2017.
Oct. 17. Robbery on the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue at approximately 9:58 p.m. A man told police that while he was walking on Mermaid Lane man came up behind him. Then the robber said, “Give me the wallet,” while holding a knife to his back.” After taking stealing the man’s Samsung J3 phone and wallet containing ID, debit cards, banking information, and social security cards, the robber fled south bound on Germantown Avenue. The items are valued at $250.
