Crime Report: Two thefts from vehicles and two thefts

The following crime report is for crimes in Chestnut Hill from Aug. 6 to Aug. 12, 2017.

Aug. 9. Theft on the 8400 block of Germantown Avenue on Aug. 5 at approximately 7:30 p.m. A manager for Jos. A. Bank told police that two lambskin black leather jackets were missing from the store. The manager noticed the empty hangers on Aug. 6 at 5 p.m. The items are valued at $1,700.

Aug. 12. Theft from vehicle on the unit block of Valley Green Road at approximately 5:30 p.m. A woman was riding her bike and discovered that an unknown person broke out her rear driver side window to her Toyota. Taken were two bags containing clothes. The items are valued at $200.

Aug. 12. Theft on the 100 block of West Springfield Avenue on Aug. 11 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Owner of vehicle told police that an unknown person took a Pennsylvania Tag KBP0005 from his grey 2016 Toyota. The item is valued at $36.

Aug. 12. Theft from vehicle on the unit block of Valley Green Road at approximately 5:30 p.m. A man told police that he just finished riding his bike and discovered that an unknown person broke out his rear passenger side window to his 2014 Mazda. Taken was a backpack containing ID cards, clothes, car and house keys and a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. The items are valued at $800.
