The following crime report is for crimes in Chestnut Hill from July 23 to July 29.
July 25. Theft from vehicle on the unit block of East Bells Mills Road at approximately 9 p.m. A woman told police that an unknown person took one pair of Ray Ban Sunglasses and $12 in change from her vehicle which was left unlocked.
July 26. Theft on the 8800 block of Germantown Avenue on July 25 at approximately 12 p.m. Taken was one black coach wallet and miscellaneous credit cards and health insurance cards. A woman told police that an unknown person took the listed items from her pocket book while it was in her office at work.
July 28. Theft on the 8200 block of Germantown Avenue at approximately 4 p.m. A woman told police that she secured and chained her bike up to a fence. Between the hours no 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., it was stolen.
