The following crime report is for crimes in Chestnut Hill from June 11 to June 17, 2017.
June 13. Aggravated assault at approximately 3 p.m. on the 8800 block of Germantown Avenue. A woman told police she had just pulled her car into the parking lot at Chestnut Hill Hospital. She told police her ex-boyfriend pulled up and started a verbal altercation with her. Then, he slapped her in the face and grabbed her left arm and began driving away. She told police she was able to break free and ran into the hospital. She later noticed her ex-boyfriend in the hospital. The woman told police she was able to get away without him seeing her.
June 15. Theft from vehicle on the unit block of Abington Avenue at approximately 12:45 p.m. A woman told police she forgot to lock her car door and an unknown person entered her vehicle and took the following items: one orange and black Hilti bag, clothing, make-up, shoes, mail and medication. The items are valued at $580.
