Firefighters responded to a call at 1:59 p.m. today to put out a fire that damaged several units at Chestnut Hill Village, at Crittenden Street and Willow Grove Avenue. The fire department said the fire was under control by 2:14 p.m.

The Philadelphia Fire Marshall's Office was at the scene and investigating the cause. We will update this story when we learn more.

The rear roof area of one of the units had signs of damage from the fire.
