Warm weather and a rainless sky prevailed for the 100th anniversary celebration of Chestnut Hill’s annual Fourth of July parade. The parade, hosted by the Bocce Club and held at the Water Tower Recreation Center in Chestnut Hill, is the second-oldest Independence Day celebration in the Philadelphia area. The red, white and blue tradition continued this year with children on their decorated bikes and wagons parading down Hartwell Lane and Devon Street. Other family-friendly festivities included a petting zoo, a moon bounce, donkey rides, face painting, and a magic show. (All Photos by Megan Clinefelter)
