Police are asking for the public's help in identifying suspects wanted in connection with two separate armed-robberies that occurred in Chestnut Hill last weekend.

The most recent robbery occurred at the Thai Kuu Restaurant, 35 Bethlehem Pike in Chestnut Hill, around 10:06 p.m. Saturday, May 28.

According to police, two African-American men entered the restaurant, armed with a silver handgun and ordered everyone to lay on the floor. The first suspect went to the cash register and took out an undetermined amount of money while the second took an undetermined amount of money and a cell phone from a 34-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man. Afterward, both men fled the restaurant on foot. They were last seen running on Bethlehem Pike before turning east on the unit block of Summit Street. No injuries were reported.

Police described suspect one as an African-American man with a stocky build armed with a handgun. He was last seen wearing a black and gray hooded sweatshirt with “ADIDAS” on the front, gloves, dark colored pants, and a mask that covered part of his face. Suspect two is described as an African-American man with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pullover, dark colored pants, white sneakers and gloves, with his face covered.

The man then fled on foot with approximately $300. He was last seen running southbound on Crittenden towards Mermaid Lane.

The suspect was described as an African-American man, 5 feet and 11 inches tall, 145 lbs., 31 to 35 years old, with a goatee and dark brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black thermal shirt, navy blue Dickies pants, and a black and white SOXS baseball cap.
