In addition to a 13-5 league lacrosse win over Gwynedd Mercy Academy, last Tuesday Mount St. Joseph was able to honor not one, but two seniors who reached the 100-goal mark in career scoring on the same afternoon.
Isabella Balcer and M.K. Maloney came close to the milestone in an April 20 game against visiting Villa Maria. Fortunately, the Mount would play its next match at home, as well, and preparations were in place for a celebration when the four-year varsity athletes both reached triple digits in the Gwynedd game.
The two players had already been committed to play Division I college lacrosse for some time, Balcer at Monmouth University, and Maloney at Old Dominion.
