Prince stars in the influential 1984 musical "Purple Rain" at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 16 at Woodmere Art Museum, 9211 Germantown Avenue, as part of Chestnut Hill Film Group's film series, "Tuesday Night at the Movies."
Alternating between fabulous concert footage and gritty domestic drama, Prince's movie debut is a fascinating time capsule into the 1980's. The screening will be introduced by Philadelphia Inquirer film critic Steven Rea.
