The following crimes occurred between Jan. 3 and 10. Details were unavailable at press time but will be included next week.
Jan 3. 7700 block Stenton Ave. Residential burglary. On December 17, 2015, at approximately 1 p.m., the complainant stated that she left her property secured. When she returned home on January 2 at approximately 6 p.m., she noticed that her front door had been pried open with an unknown object. The complainant stated that it appeared that someone had touched items throughout the house; however, nothing appeared to be missing.
Jan. 4. 8100 block Germantown Ave. Retail theft. According to the complainant, between December 23, 2015, and December 28, 2015, an unknown person(s) removed 2 mink coats from the store without permission / payment. It is unknown if any other items were taken; total value of items taken is $1,000.
Jan. 6 Unit block Highland Ave. Theft. On December 31, the complainant stated that an unknown person(s) removed two Trane three-ton water source heat pumps that were delivered to location. At the time of delivery, the heat pumps were in boxes and placed outside. At approximately 2 p.m., an unknown person(s) removed the heat pumps from outside of the property in an unknown manner. Total value of items taken: $7,000.
Jan 6 100 block E. Evergreen Ave. Theft. On January 3, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the complainant stated that an unknown person(s) entered his unlocked shed and removed a Hitachi circular saw, Black & Decker 6’ extension ladder, 10’ extension ladder, a chop saw, and a canopy tent. Total value of items taken: $800.
