The following crimes are from the week of Oct. 4 through Oct. 10
Oct 6. 7700 block of Crittenden Street. Theft. Pathmark manager states she saw a man taking a $20 chicken out of the store without paying for it. Man was caught walking out of the store.
Oct. 7. Unit block of Abington Ave. Theft. A homeowner reported a copper downspout valued at $100 was taken from his home.
Oct. 8. 300 block of Springfield Ave. Theft from Vehicle. Complainant who parked a car in her driveway returned to find he rear, passenger side window had been forced open and the following were taken from the vehicle: A large, black purse, a Lenovo laptop and a pair of prescription sunglasses valued at $800.
Oct. 8. 7800 block of Pocono Street. Theft from vehicle. Car owner returned to his vehicle to find the left driver’s side window shattered. Taken were: a brown wallet, a Capital One Visa card, two Bank of America credit cards and an American Express card.
Oct. 9. 600 block of W. Mermaid Lane. Theft. A homeowner found that his detached shed doors had been pried open and a men’s Trek mountain bike valued at $600 had been stolen.
Summary: Five Crimes for the week: three thefts and two thefts from vehicles.
