Last week Megan Bray (right) and fellow senior co-captain Claire Brown (left) led Mount St. Joseph Academy to its 13th consecutive Catholic Academies golf tournament championship.
On the par-35 front nine at Honeybrook Golf Club, Bray tied for top honors with Gwynedd Mercy Academy’s Rebecca Reilly with a score of 38, and Brown turned in a 39.
Among the top nine individuals were five other Mounties: senior Joanie Gannon (40), junior Caitlin Mahon (40), freshman Brianna Mahon (41), senior Mara Boston (42) and senior Laura Park (46). The Mount’s team score was 198, and the runner-up, with 228, was Gwynedd, which had Julia Loftus place eighth individually with a round of 44.
