Crime Report: Five thefts

The following crimes are from the week of July 26 to Aug. 1, 2015

July 27. Unit block of Chestnut Hill Ave. Between July 26, 3 p.m., and July 27, 7 a.m, an unknown person entered the closed locked garage by cutting and removing the padlock and took a black and white RBEA Carbon Orca Road Bike and a light green children’s mountain bike valued at $2,300.

July 29. 7800 block of Crefeld St. At approximately 4:35 p.m., an unknown person entered the garage from the side door, that was locked and took a Raleigh Venture 2007 3.0 16” Silver bike (S/N 465K20024) with a black bag valued at $200.

July 29. 200 block of East Hartwell Lane. At approximately 7:15 p.m., a woman stated she left iPhone 6 on the desk in the office at the Water Tower Recreation Center and when she returned to the office 15 minutes later the phone was gone.

July 29. 7900 block of Germantown Ave. At approximately 9:07 a.m., an unknown person unzipped the back window of the owner's 2012 Jeeps Wrangler and removed three pair of sunglasses valued at $350.

July 31. Unit block of West Hartwell Lane. A woman said she parked her vehicle and when she returned at 3 p.m. she noticed her wallet and change was missing. Valued at $25. The vehicle was left unlocked.
