The For Pete's Sake Cancer Respite Foundation will hold its 16th annual Fashion Show at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club.
This year's event will celebrate the organization's providing more than 1,000 respite vacations for cancer patients and their families.
Along with fashions by Louella, the evening includes a cash bar, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, live and silent auctions, grand prize raffles and a trip raffle.
The evening also will feature the presentation of the Peter R. Brossow Jr. Memorial Award to Joann Canavan, whose support of the foundation during the past 15 years has resulted in 20 families being sent on an all-expenses-paid respite vacation.
All funds raised will support the For Pete's Sake Cancer Respite Foundation, which enables cancer patients and their loved ones the opportunity to strengthen, deepen and unify their relationships by creating respite vacations at the FPS respite home near Orlando, Fla., and to select destinations in the Caribbean and along the East Coast.
