Chestnut Hill Hospital provided a big boost to the Chestnut Hill Community Fund when it recently announced a donation of $10,000 for this year’s Pastorius Park Concert Series.

The Pastorius Park Summer Concert Series has been a joyful, summertime staple in the community for 6 years, thanks in part to Chestnut Hill Hospital’s sponsorship during the last nine years. “When I think of what makes our community special, I think of the summer concerts. Grab dinner to go at one of our local restaurants and head to the park with your family and friends to relax under the stars,” said Chestnut Hill Hospital CEO John Cacciamani, M.D. “We are proud to be part of this tradition and demonstrate our support of the community with a donation for the Pastorius Park Concerts.”

“Our first commitment to the community begins in the hospital with our focus on quality health care and bringing the best of Philly health care to Chestnut Hill with our partnerships with Temple Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Penn Cardiology and their Heart Rescue program, and specialists from Jefferson Neuroscience to care for stroke patients,” Cacciamani said. “And to top it off, our ER wait times are the best in the region. That’s how we truly show our commitment to the community.”

The 2015 Pastorius Park Concerts will take place on seven consecutive Wednesdays starting on June 17. The Pastorius Park Summer Concert Series is one of many community programs supported by the Chestnut Hill Community Fund Drive. Support your community and help us reach our goal of $100,000 by March 24. Go to www.chestnuthill.org/community to donate online, mail a check to CHCF, 8434 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118, or call 215-248-8810.
