Willa Carswell Hunter, of Philadelphia, on December 26, 2014. Born in Augusta, GA, she was raised by her aunt, Mamie Carswell. Willa received her bachelor's degree in 1972 in accounting from Temple University and earned her CPA. She retired as a case worker from the Small Business Administration in the early 1980s. Willa was a member of the Zion Baptist Church in Philadelphia and was a soprano for the Paul Roberts Choir of Philadelphia. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Hunter, Jr. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Abby Collins, Brother-in-law, Raymond Hunter, Sr. (Donna), nieces, Megan Kerper and Terrie Hunter, nephews, Raymond Hunter, Jr., Joshua Hunter, Brian Hunter, Jr. and John Hunter. Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on February 6, 2015 which will begin at 11 am at the Ivy Hill Chapel, 1201 Easton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19150.
