Lex (formerly Sommaripa) Redbone, 59, of Vero Beach, FL, and formerly of Philadelphia, died November 17th, 2014, at his residence. Born on April 10th, 1955, he was the son of Dr. Amory M. Sommaripa of Harrisburg and the late Ann C. (Kuhn) Sommaripa. In addition to his father, surviving are two brothers, Nick Sommaripa of West Creek, NJ, and Amory T. Sommaripa of Indio, CA; two sisters, Nina Echemendia of Aurora, CO, and Annie Sommaripa of Larkspur, CO; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Services were held Saturday, December 6th, at the Mount Calvary Episcopal Church, 125 N 25th St, in Camp Hill Pa. Lex served honorably for three years in the U.S Marine Corps, so in lieu of flowers, the family suggests making memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project.
