According to the police around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, of the 100 block of W. Hansberry St., was walking on Coulter Street near Greene Street, when she was abducted by a man.

Police released disturbing surveillance video of the kidnapping on Monday, Nov. 3. The video shows a man pull up his vehicle and park on the West side of Coulter Street. He gets out of the car and crosses the street. Freeland-Gaither is then seen crossing the street at the corner with the man walking quickly behind her.
