Crime Report: 1 burglary, 6 thefts

The following crimes are from the week of May 18 to May 24, 2014.

May 18. 200 block E. Evergreen Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the passenger side window of a silver Porsche Cayenne and stole money.

May 18. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states he observed offender removing items from shelf and stuffing them in his shirt. Offender attempted to leave store without paying for them. Taken were knives, razors and cheese. Offender, James Robinson, was placed under arrest and transported to Northwest Detectives.

May 19. 7700 block Germantown Avenue. Police observed a blue Chevy truck pull into parking lot of store and then observed offender for five to ten minutes loading pallets from loading dock into his car. Male was stopped and pallets were identified as being the store's.

May 21. Unit block W. Springfield Avenue. Complainant states she heard scraping at her rear sliding glass door and when she entered kitchen she could see a dark figure outside door who then left quickly. Weather stripping and molding was pried back from glass but entry was not made.

May 21. Valley Green Road and Wolcott Drive. Complainant and her husband parked their car and went for a walk in the park. When they returned they found someone had broken into the trunk and stole a handbag with money and a First National Bank Visa card.

May 23. Unit block Valley Green Road. Complainant states that an unknown person pried open the passenger side door of a 2010 Toyota Yaris and stole two credit cards, three debit cards, and money.

May 23. 7900 block Winston Road. Complainant states that between 7 p.m. on May 22 and 8 a.m. on May 23, an unknown person broke the passenger side window of a 2006 Ford F-150 and stole an iPod and cell phone with number 215-852-5022.

Summary – Seven crimes for week: one burglary, three thefts and three thefts from vehicles.
