Crime Report: Stolen car, two thefts

The following crimes are from the week of May 4 to May 10, 2014.

May 4. 8100 block Roanoke Street. Complainant states that an unknown person entered home through vestibule door which was possibly left unlocked.

May 5. Unit block W. Bells Mill Road. Complainant states she parked her car in parking lot on May 4 and when she returned she noticed passenger side window broken, but could not access glove compartment.

May 5. 300 block W. Moreland Avenue. Complainant states she parked her 2011 Toyota and left window partially open. When she returned she saw that someone had stolen a silver make-up case, pair of Gucci sunglasses and a green wallet with money.

May 6. 8600 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant parked her 2002 gray car, Pennsylvania tag DYV 9115 at Germantown and Evergreen and when she returned her car had been stolen.

May 7. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states he observed offender taking five containers of Similac baby formula at 3:50 p.m. Offender fled in a black Town and Country Chrysler, Pennsylvania tag JMS 8588.

Summary – Five crimes for week: one illegal entry to home, one illegal entry to vehicle, one theft from vehicle, one stolen vehicle and one theft.
