The following crimes are from the week of April 13 to April 19, 2014.

April 13. Unit block W. Evergreen Avenue. Police responded to the burglar alarm and observed damage to door lock where entry was attempted.

April 15. Unit block W. Evergreen Avenue. An unknown person stole a mountain bike with orange stripes which was chained to owner's fence.

April 16. 8200 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant was working at front desk when four black males came into hotel to use the restroom. When leaving one male grabbed complainant's iPad and gave it to another black male. First male, 12 years old, 4'10” tall, medium complexion, short hair, wearing a black hoodie. Second male, 11 to 18 years old, 5'8” tall, 170 pounds, wearing a gray hoodie. Third male, 5'5” tall, medium complexion, wearing a blue vest. Fourth male 5'11” tall, 140 pounds, wearing a blue hoodie and bluejeans.

April 17. 7700 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that offenders came into store, looked around and left, then came back a few minutes later. One of the offenders went behind the computer twice, then reached over the counter and took money from the cash drawer. First black male, 6'2” tall, 220 pounds, beard and mustache. Second black male, 6' tall, wearing a black hoodie and tan pants. Third male, 29 – 30 years old, wearing tan pants.

April 17. Unit block Hilltop Road. Between 8 p.m. on April 16 and 7 a.m. on April 17, an unknown person stole a blue Marin mountain bike.

Summary – Five crimes for week: one attempted burglary and four thefts.
