FOW hosts public meeting on Sustainable Trails Initiative

The Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) will host a public meeting to discuss progress to date on the Sustainable Trails Initiative (STI) and upcoming projects for 2014 on Monday, Nov. 25, at 6 p.m. at Cathedral Village. A representative from Philadelphia Parks and Recreation is expected to attend.

The Sustainable Trails Initiative is a multi-year project to make the 50 miles of National Recreation Trails in the Wissahickon a physically and socially sustainable system that works for all park users. This project is being executed in partnership with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department.

The meeting will take place at Cathedral Village, 600 East Cathedral Road. Those wishing to attend the meeting should register with FOW by contacting Outreach Manager Sarah Marley marley@fow.org or 215-247-0417 x 109.
