Green Tree Community Health Foundation has announced the appointment of four new members to its board of directors.
The new members are Helene “Lanie” Dilks, of Mt. Airy; Wanda Mial, also of Mt. Airy; John Rollins, of Wyndmoor, and Nancy Wiemann, of Fort Washington.
Ms. Dilks is a veteran volunteer with vast experience in social services and adds considerable insight through site evaluations. Ms. Mial, senior vice president of the Philadelphia Education Fund, has been a leader in the nonprofit, governmental, and philanthropic sectors for more than 20years.
John Rollins is executive vice president at Accolade Inc., a company that assists individuals in confidently navigating the health care system to get the care they need. Nancy Wieman, deputy administrator for Mental Health Services for Montgomery County, has worked within the mental health field her whole career.
A community health advocate, the Green Tree Community Health Foundation, is a nonprofit public charity that identifies areas of vulnerability in the communities of Northwest Philadelphia and Eastern Montgomery County. Green Tree also provides funding to organizations whose work addresses theseneeds. Since Green Tree opened its doors in 2005, millions of dollars in funding have been given to local agencies.
