Letitia Cushmore Matlack, 75, of Ambler, a mathematics teacher at Springside School for more than three decades, died Sept. 1 at Abington Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Matlack taught fourth-grade and middle school at Springside. An avid dramatist, she also directed many shows at the school and acted in and produced plays at The Stagecrafters, where she met her future husband, the late Herbert “Jack” Matlack.

Born in Philadelphia and raised on Long Island, N.Y., she attended the University of Michigan and majored in speech.

She is survived by daughters Anne Matlack, of Madison, N.J., and Susan Troemel, of Rydal; her mother,
