Head into the PECO Primate Reserve at the Philadelphia Zoo for arts, crafts, storytelling, giveaways and more! You can even watch as the zoo’s workers feed and train some primates.


What: Korean Folk Festival

The Won Community Service Center and Won Buddhism of Philadelphia are co-sponsoring the 15th Annual Korean Folk Festival with Cheltenham Township Main Street, featuring food, games and activities. The event will be held rain or shine. Demonstrations, including a traditional Korean wedding ceremony, Irish Dance, Korean precussion workshop, arrow throwing, and a tug-of-war will highlight the event. For adults, three will be a traditional Korean quilting workshop. In addition, visitors will be able to sample traditional Korean dishes including stir-fried rice cakes, seaweed rolls, Korean-style Barbeque beef, and noodle soup.
